Randy quietly followed Alexa upstairs.

Dave sat down next to Elle.

"I'm sorry about tonight." Dave said.

Alexa walked into her room then sat down on a chair.

"Whatever." Elle said, shrugging her shoulders. "You like Bree, it's cool."

"I didn't mean for all of that to happen tonight, I'm sorry." Randy said after he quietly closed the bedroom door.

"I like you more." Dave said.

"Whatever. No big deal. You're with Trish anyway." Alexa said.

"You don't have to say that to make me feel better." Elle said.

Randy shook his head. "Trish is...complicated, but what I feel for her is nothing compare to how I feel for you, I like you a lot."

"I mean it. I really do like you more than her, you mean so much more to me." Dave said.

Alexa shook her head.

"You don't mean that." Alexa said.

"Then what was that all about back at the house?" Elle asked.

"I am telling the truth. When have I lied to you Alexa? I sure as hell wouldn't start now." Randy said.

"She was almost raped Elle, I had to help her calm down." Dave said.

"You sure as hell didn't seem to like me back at the party." Alexa said.

Elle rolled her eyes. "Okay, fine, whatever."

"She was attacked, Alexa, I couldn't just ignore her after that." Randy said.

"What? So if a friend of yours was almost raped you wouldn't care?" Dave asked.

Alexa shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"I'm not going to argue with you about this, you already know my opinion on it." Elle said.

"If the tables were turned, I would've reacted the same way if it was you." Randy said.

(I'm gonna go, class later on tonight and I'm tired. Talk to tomorrow probably since the class gets out late)

Dave sighed.

"Just know I really like you a lot and I would never try to hurt any girl. I'm always ready to help someone when they need it. That's why I did what I did at the party, I was hoping you would understand because I would help you whenever you needed it." Dave said.

"Uh huh." Alexa said.

"Right....but Bree comes first, got it." Elle said.

"Seriously, Alexa. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I really didn't. I care about you too much." Randy said.

"That's not what I'm trying to say. If you were almost raped I would have helped you and have pushed Bree to the back of my mind. I was just trying to help her in her time of need but you mean so much more to me than she ever will." Dave said.

"But not as much as Trish. I get it you're sorry, now go. I don't need to listen to your excuses. It's obvious we'll be nothing more than friends." Alexa said.

"Okay, got it, great. You made your point, so that's it?" Elle said. "Cause if so, it's late and I'd like to go to bed."

Randy shook his head. "You aren't getting what I'm trying to say. If Trish meant more to me would I be here right now or I would I do this..." Randy said going over to the chair before he leaned down to kiss Alexa.

Dave shook his head then kissed Elle on her cheek.

"I just hope you will still give us a chance because I like where we're going or were going." Dave said.

Alexa pulled away from the kiss then looked at Randy.

"Come into my bedroom so you can kiss me, how thoughtful. You can leave now." Alexa said.

"Right...and then as soon as something comes up with Bree, I'll be tossed to the side again." Elle said with a roll of her eyes.

"Alexa it wasn't like that..." Randy said with a sigh, rubbing the back of his head. "...I'm sorry."

Dave groaned.

"I don't know why you're making this so hard." Dave said.

"I'm sure you are. Sorry I'm not more willing to sleep with you like Trish." Alexa said.

"Sorry, I don't fawn over you like Bree does." Elle said.

"I don't want to sleep with you, I don't care about Trish, Alexa." Randy said.

"That's not what I'm asking for. I just want another chance." Dave said.

Alexa let out a sarcastic laugh.

"Yeah, okay." Alexa said.

Elle shrugged. "Don't know if I can do that."

Randy shook his head. "Forget it, I'm trying to be honest with you and tell you how I feel, if you can't get that then whatever. I told you the truth." He said, walking out of the room.

"Please." Dave pleaded.

Alexa sighed then got up and ran out of the room. She saw Randy then grabbed his hand.

"I'm sorry." Alexa said.

Elle looked at Dave and sighed. "Fine.."

He looked down at Alexa when she grabbed his hand. "You don't need to apologize, I was the one that crossed the line in there, I'm sorry."

Dave let out a breath of relief and smiled.

"Thank you." Dave said.

Alexa shook her head.

"I was just being stubborn about forgiving you. You didn't go anything wrong in there." Alexa said.

"Welcome." Elle said.
