Tryouts

"It's not crap, if they can't follow the rule than they can't be on our team." Bree said.

"You both know they're good and unless you want to suck this year, you'll put them on the team." Randy said.

"We're on the team duh Randy, our team is going to rock." Trish said as she rolled her eyes.

"Put them on the team." Dave said.

"Are you two the captains of the team? No. So, shut up, no one was asking you." Bree snapped.

"You two just know we're right." Randy said.

"No you're not so shut up already so we can think about who deserves to be on the team." Trish said.

"You both are so ridiculous it's not even funny." Dave said.

"Seriously you both are." Randy said.

Bree looked at Trish and with her voice low asked, "What are we going to do?"

"I don't know...ugh. Maybe if we put them on the squad we can make those two love us even more because we proved to be the bigger people. We all know those two hate us." Trish whispered.

Bree grinned devilishly at Trish. "That's a great idea, Trish." She said.

"Follow my lead." Trish muttered.

She looked over at the guys then sighed.

"You're both right, we're sorry we were being stupid." Trish said.

"Really stupid, we're going to put them on the team." Bree said.

"See, I knew you both could be rational when you want to be." Randy said.

"I did too. Why weren't you going to put them on the team to begin with?" Dave asked.

"Our pride. We're always known as the best, what if they upstage us?" Trish asked with a pout.

"That's not going to happen, you two are amazing." Randy said.

"Thanks you guys...I feel a bit better." Bree said.

"You two are the most talented cheerleaders in this school. Don't worry about it." Dave said.

"Thank you guys, we really needed to hear that." Trish said with a smile.

Bree kissed Dave on the cheek before walking back over to the girls.

"You both are welcome." Randy said with a smile.

Dave smiled.

Trish kissed Randy on the cheek before she skipped over to Bree and the rest of the girls.

"Okay, so we've made our decision." Bree said before she called a few names, leaving Alexa's and Elle's name for last.

Elle looked at Alexa in shock.

Alexa's eyes widened then looked over at Elle.

"Did I just hear our names?" Alexa asked.

"I think so, I can't believe it." Elle said.

"Me neither...what's the catch?" Alexa asked.

"There's no catch, you made the team." Bree said.

"Um...wow..." Elle said.

"I know." Alexa muttered, still in shock.

"Well come on we have to practice." Trish said as she grabbed her pom poms.

Elle walked over, grabbing a pair of pom poms and standing in line.

Bree rolled her eyes as she stood beside Trish.

"This is so dumb but at least Randy and Dave are impressed with us." Trish said as she faked a smile.

Alexa grabbed a pair of pom poms then stood next to Elle.

"I know this is stupid, I hate this." Bree said.

"Something has to be up." Elle said.

"Just play along until they're gone." Trish said.

"Of course something is with these two." Alexa said.

"And then what?" Bree asked.

"Definitely, I don't trust them." Elle said.
