Tryouts

Bree walked into the gym in her cheerleading uniform and went at the table that was set up so that they could judge the girls. She honestly didn't want to be here nor did she care to add more people to the team, since everyone on there were the coolest girls in school, of course they weren't cooler than Trish and herself. But because of school rules, they had to hold tryouts. She dropped her bag by her chair and took a seat as she waited for Trish to come in.

Elle came out of the locker room in black sweat pants and a black sports bra. She was putting her hair in a ponytail as she waited outside the gym for Alexa.

Trish walked into the gym with an annoyed look on her face. She like Bree didn't see the point in tryouts. Why the hell should there be a rule where dorks should be allowed to join their squad?

"Hey Bree." Trish said as she walked over to her.

Alexa walked over to Elle in a pair of pink shorts and a black shirt. She smirked a bit as they stood outside the gym.

"Ready to know those bitches off their throne?" Alexa asked.

"Hey Trish." Bree said, tapping her pen against the table in annoyance. "Ready to get this over with? If we just go through with the tryouts we don't have to like...add new people, right? I'm trying to figure out a way around this."

"Definitely, I can't wait to see the look on their faces. There's no way in hell they can turn us down if we have talent." Elle said.

"I fucking hope we don't. I swear if they make us I'll be pissed." Trish said.

"Nope they can't. I've been practicing all weekend." Alexa said as she tied her hair up into a loose ponytail.

"This whole thing is bullshit. It's like they want us to suck and have an ugly team." Bree said.

"You're gonna rock out there, Alexa." Elle said.

"I know! None of those girls should be on our team. It's fine the way it is." Trish said.

"Thanks, so are you." Alexa said.

"It is, I hate this school sometimes." Bree said, crossing her arms over her chest. "Let's just get this stupid thing over with."

"Thanks, Alexa. Is it bad I'm a bit nervous?" Elle asked.

"Me too and fine." Trish muttered as she waited for the girls to come in and start.

"No because I am too. What if our plan fails?" Alexa asked.

"We gotta stay positive." Elle said taking a deep breath when she heard it was time.

"You've got to be kidding me." Bree said seeing Elle walk in.

Trish turned her head then saw Alexa follow Elle into the gym.

"No way in hell are they joining our squad." Trish said with anger in her voice.

"It's an open tryout, can't stop us." Elle said.

"Uh, yeah we can. Get out!" Bree said.

"Yeah, we're the head cheerleaders. We can do whatever we want. Now leave." Trish said.

"Make us bitches." Alexa said.

Trish glared.

"She did not just call us that." Trish said.

"Oh she did. Do you have any idea who we are?!" Bree said.

"Two obnoxious, self-centered, bitches." Elle replied.

"You forget we can make your life hell." Bree said.

Elle rolled her eyes.

"You don't want to mess with us. Now get out of here." Trish said.

"No." Alexa said.

"No, the tryouts are open and we're allowed to be here. Can't stop us." Elle said.

"Fine, but you sure as hell won't be making our team, so it's a waste of your time." Bree said.

"Yeah. We don't have to pick people to be on this team and if we do we're sure as hell not picking you two." Trish said.

"We'll see about that." Alexa said.

Bree rolled her eyes as she stood up. "Want to show them the routine or want me to do it."

Elle shook her head as she stood in the line the rest of the girls were in so that they could begin.

"Go ahead." Trish said.

Alexa stood with Elle and the other girls.

"So, here's how it's going to go." Bree said as she stood in front of the other girls the look on her face scaring a few of the girls who were brave enough to stand in front. "I'm going to go through the routine, you guys get it down, and then we'll call you in by groups to audition. And when all of you are done embarrassing yourselves, we'll announce who didn't make the team." She said, leaving out 'and the who made it' part on purpose.

"Got it? Good." Bree said before she walked over to press the play button to the stereo. The music began and Bree went through the whole routine and when it was over she broke it down a bit more so that everyone could follow.

"You rock Bree, show these rejects how it's done." Trish said.

Bree smiled over at Trish and did the routing for awhile longer before she turned off the music and went back over to the table. "You got fifteen minutes to go over it yourselves and then we'll call your groups in." Bree said.

"Ugh, that was annoying to do." Bree said, taking a seat.

Elle walked over to Alexa. "You think you got it down?" She asked.

"I can imagine but you looked great. Dave would have loved to watch." Trish said.

"Yeah, didn't look too difficult, you?" Alexa asked.

"Thanks Trish, you're such a great friend." Bree said. "Well, I had an idea. Maybe the football team could help us judge, honestly I want them there to check us out."

"Same here. Seriously, I can't believe she thought we wouldn't be able to get this." Elle said.

"Ooo that's a great idea. Let's go get them." Trish said with a smile.

"I know. They're so full of themselves." Alexa said.

Bree giggled as she got up and walked out of the gym.

"They are, I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they see us dance." Elle said.
