A Small Change

"Nothing...I've just been craving ice cream, haven't had it in a while." John lied.

"John, it's football season. Why are going to lose that nice body of yours over some ice cream, seriously." Elle said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"I'm quitting the team." John lied again, he was really horrible at this.

"Bullshit! Wow John, way to try to ruin our image. Aren't you supposed to be our friend?" Alexa asked.

"Oh my God! Seriously?! The hell are you going to quit for?" Elle asked. "You're going to give up your reputation and ruin ours in the process!"

"He's not really quitting Elle, it's a lie." Alexa said, glaring at John.

"You don't know that and I think you both will be fine. If not you can always quit cheerleading." John said, trying to quickly defend himself.

"Quit cheerleading and go back to be losers? Um, no." Elle said. "Not an option."

"You two weren't losers." John said.

"Yeah we were and we had terrible clothes so take us to the mall, learn how to shut up as well." Alexa said.

"Not to mention no one liked us and no one thought we were hot. Worst. Year. Ever." Elle added.

"You two are being ridiculous. I liked you." John said.

"You don't count Cena." Alexa said as she rolled her eyes.

"Seriously, you don't." Elle said.

"I can't believe how much of a jerk you're being." Alexa said to John as she looked out the window.

"Have no idea what's gotten into him." Elle said.

"Me neither. This attitude isn't attractive John, no wonder you don't have a girlfriend." Alexa said.

John rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"And he definitely needs to get laid." Elle said.

"We should hook him up with someone at the mall!" Alexa said with excitement.

"I don't believe that is necessary." John said.

"Might as well, cause God knows he won't do it himself. Why don't you date John?" Elle asked.

"I haven't found the right girl." John said.

"You're just being too picky." Alexa said.

"You really are. There has to be someone you're interested in." Elle said.

"I don't know." John said with a shrug.

"What about Stacy Keibler? You liked her last year." Alexa said.

John shrugged again.

"You are just being difficult now." Alexa said.

"He's going to be alone for forever, I swear." Elle said.

"I know, it's terrible really." Alexa said.

"I am not going to be alone forever, my mom wouldn't let that happen." John said.

"Whatever, not my problem. I have more important things to worry about than your fail of a love life." Elle shrugged.

"Me too. We are going to have fun and live life like we should, not being a sour puss like you." Alexa said.

"You're both too busy being bitches to be a sour pusses." John muttered as he parked in front of the mall.

"And you're being an asshole, so there." Elle said, getting out of the car.

"Are you going to come in with us or not Cena?" Alexa asked.

"Sure, why not. Just let me park the car." John said before he drove off.

"He better not take forever." Alexa said as she folded her arms.
